A wonderful experience! Got my commercial multi engine with their 4 day accelerated course. Devin did an excellent job preparing me and taught beyond the ACS and gave practical advice flying as a professional pilot. Would highly recommend checking this place out!
I earned my PPL at the MAC. I flew with multiple instructors due to my own crazy schedule, and every single flight was a noteworthy experience. From the front door and the discovery flight to final checkride prep, the staff at MAC has felt like family. They are warm, courteous, and always there to assist, talk shop, or help a client/student have the best experience. The MAC easily became my favorite place to be in Minot. I was incredibly pleased with the quality of instruction I got from my CFIs and will always continue to visit here when I'm in the area. Everyone is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about aviation. Thank you for everything!
"This place is WONDERFUL!! We did the $99 introductory flight, which was basically a flightseeing trip over Minot area. Our pilot was Samantha and she couldn't have been nicer. She gave us a great, narrated tour and humored me with answers to my "knows enough to be dangerous" questions. The extra touches she did to customize our experience were outstanding and greatly appreciated. Without hesitation we HIGHLY recommend the Minot Aero Center!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know what a great, positive experience I had at Pietsch in Minot, ND, last week. I had been having trouble with my 231 banking to the left and decided to take it down to Pietsch—a three-and-a-half-hour flight—to get things done by someone who knows Mooneys. Jay, the new owner, made time for me even after I got weathered out and was a day late in arriving. We took the plane out for a demo flight. He took the controls to get a feel for it and then we went back to the shop. He used the travel boards and made some adjustments. We went up again, made some more adjustments, and then flew it again. It was straight as an arrow after eight years of the auto bank. It's a great shop. There were Mooneys, warbirds, and other planes all being worked on. The mechanics were all very nice guys as well. The Air Museum was not open for the season yet, but Jay said he would give the manager (and one of the co-founders) a call and ask if he could give us a tour. We had a private tour, which was very impressive. There were three Mustangs, a Spitfire, and many more great planes (all flyable, I might add) just parked in the museum that get pulled out regularly. Unbelievable. Also, on one of the demo flights, the Canadian Snowbirds came into the airport. I landed between two of the sorties. I now tell people I flew with the Snowbirds. This airport was by far the best GA experience I have had in the 13 years since I started flying. If all GA was done like this, it would not only be surviving, it would be thriving. I'd like to say thank you to Jay for everything. I can't say enough about the experience.
“It is cool to see the great community that exists in aviation. Dad, Bridger, and I hopped over to Stanley this evening to enjoy the nice weather and get some fuel. As we gassed up the plane, we watched as the front tire slowly went flat. We called Jay Blessum from Minot Aero Center and he grabbed a spare tire, jumped in a plane and flew over, at 7pm. Another gentleman who put fuel on before us also stayed there for over an hour to help us put on the new tire when Jay got there. The Stanley Airport manager also stopped by and helped us out. It is wonderful to have friends and the general aviation world is full them. Shout out to Jay and the Minot Aero Center for always providing service above and beyond.”
