Aircraft Mechanic

Full time mechanic position. A&P preferred

Essential Duties:

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance
• Troubleshoot, inspect, test, and repair a variety of aircraft
• Read and understand FAA and manufacturer’s maintenance publications
• Ensure aircraft logbooks and technical logs are in accordance with FAA regulations
• Parts ordering
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• A&P license preferred; but we will train the right applicant with a strong mechanical background
• Preferred candidate will have piston-powered aircraft experience and/or turbine-powered aircraft experience
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be willing to work on call and occasionally overtime
• Must participate in the DOT preemployment and random drug and alcohol testing program
• Must be able to pass a background check and be able to secure TSA security clearance

Language Skills:
Ability to read, interpret, and understand documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. English language fluency in reading, writing, and speaking.
